Hi , I’m Lela 👋 I have been a Cosmetic Formulator for 17 happy years as my “job” and created Happy Roots Dearborn- as my passion. I was raised in Northern Michigan so I have always had a very close connection with the earth. In fact, it runs in the family!
My uncle recently retired from his long standing show on HGTV, known as “Gardening by the Yard with Paul James”. (Yes- that goofy guy is my uncle Paul 🙃🤓)
I live in Dearborn, MI where I obsessively grow plants to replicate the jungle, manage 5 short people that call me “mom”, collect pony figures/toys, & grow crystals for fun.
